Technical analysis resumes in Lake George

Friday Saratoga’s 9th race is the Grade 3 Lake George Stakes for three-year-old fillies running one mile on the indoor turf course (post time 5:39 pm ET).

# 8 TECHNICAL ANALYSIS (4-1) ran away from an outside post getting the wrong trip and setup as my best bet pick in the Wonder Again (G3) on June 3rd. She’s shot on her three other turf runs and could bounce back into a big way on this shorter trip.

# 6 Amy C (9-2) ran well in both starts in all weather conditions in France and intelligently passed last to first in her bow in the US in a slow early / fast late turf course at Belmont June 25. Chad Brown’s filly could easily shear them.

# 5 Jouster (7-2) is probably the one to catch up and cutting back by a furrow helps his chances. She has pierced a grass ball for this July 16 and will take them as far as possible under her winning rider Luis Saez.

# 3 Fluffy Socks (8-1) finished out of the line for the first time since making their Wonder Again (G3) debut on June 3. She was there in her four other grass courses.

# 10 Minaun (6-1) was part of the exacta in all four turf starts and proved she can handle a flat mile in the Wild Applause on June 26. She will have to work on a trip from the outside station.

# 1 Demadog (12-1) won both turf courses at Churchill Downs and she used different tactics each time. She wired the field in her bow and stalked and jumped the second time around. She should save all the ground from the hedge under her winning driver Chris Landeros.

# 2 Runaway Rumor (6-1) is a perfect three on three and she has a good late kick. Look for her late if the pace picks up.

# 4 Invincible Gal (15-1) won his grass sprint arc at Saratoga last summer and has lost all six starts since. She has clinched the spot in four of those races and is trying to bounce back with the addition of blinders on her third start after a layoff.

# 7 Tobys Heart (10-1) finished second in rally over this distance in the Tepin Stakes. She won her three starts on the turf at five and a half stadiums and lost her three other attempts at longer distances.

# 9 Navratilova (12-1) stole the Tepin Stakes on June 26 and doesn’t think of coming off early with Player in this race.
