Amber Heard reportedly sold her California home after losing the multi-million dollar libel case against her ex-husband Johnny Depp.

The ‘Aquaman’ actress, 36, is said to have made a profit of $500,000 (£408,000) selling the $1.05million (£820,000) home in Yucca Valley.

Heard reportedly purchased it in 2019 through an anonymous trust, with TMZ claiming it was purchased before the pandemic.

It added values in the region have since skyrocketed.

The news site said it spoke to the new owner who said he dealt with the actress’s agents during the sale rather than Heard directly.

Depp, 59, sued Heard for defamation over a December 2018 opinion piece she wrote in The Washington Post, which her lawyers said implied he abused her while they were together.

She has since said she cannot afford to pay the damages awarded to the actor.

A jury ruled that ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor Depp was defamed by the editorial even though he never mentioned his name.

He was awarded $10.35m (£8.4m) in damages.

Heard won on one count of her countersuit, successfully claiming that Depp’s publicist defamed her by claiming her allegations were “a hoax of abuse” aimed at capitalizing on the #movement MeToo. The jury awarded him $2m (£1.6m).

Meanwhile, unsealed court documents claimed Depp suffered from erectile dysfunction.

Heard’s attorneys argued in a March 28 filing that the alleged medical condition may have contributed to her ex-husband’s allegedly violent behavior.

The documents allege: “Although Mr. Depp prefers not to disclose his condition of erectile dysfunction, such a condition is absolutely relevant to the sexual violence, including Mr. Depp’s anger and the use of a bottle to rape Amber hear.”

Depp has always denied Heard’s allegations of rape and abuse.
